Let me rest in pieces

Seeing most all one's worldly possessions crammed into one room is a bit disconcerting. And somewhat disheartening, too. When the flying monkeys dis-assembled the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, he said, "well, that's me all over." I'm feeling a that way. All over.

The condo in which I was living was rented and I had to move. Now all my stuff is in storage (very oddly at my place of work. We had an empty, unused room. The price is right).

I'm crashing with friends for a while until a Way opens for something more permanent (which may be crashing with friends.

I never need fear being truly "homeless." Though my spirit feels a bit un-moored.

I'll post some pictures of the move and all my stuff. when I can.

I've just e-mailed you but thanks for letting us know where you're standing. How long do the friends let you crash? I wish I could help you move. In those crammed possesssions there is only a small part of you - the big, beautiful rest is in God's eyes and in our loving hearts. Big bear hug and prayer.

Big hugs to you too!
I find it difficult to rely on friends, but I realize that at times it is necessary. So be glad you have great friends!

Best wishes and prayers to you in this phase of upheaval. I hope you will be able to find your own space soon.

My mental image of that room goes to my memories of craming a good bit of our belongings into a PODS two years ago.

My prayers continue to be with you, for you. I remember not too long ago I crashed with distant family. I remember the uncertainty. Now I have a place & I live alone for the first time in my life really. Its wonderful, I pray you can find a place that will be your home quickly! Blessings

Hopefully things will fall in place for you sooner rather than later.

Go with the flow for awhile instead of struggling to "find" something, maybe this was meant to be, meant for you to learn from.......

Stay in the moment and let things be. The future will announce itself soon enough. You have friends guarding your heart.

If I lived closer, you wouldn't be sleeping on a couch. ;)

It's good to know you had friends to support you through this hard time. I found out a year ago when I broke my ankle how much my friends cared about me.

So all your possessions fit into one room = you don't have a ton of junk that you'll never use.

Find joy in the simplicity of life.
