I feel for you. I have lost so many friends over the years I understand what you are going through. Just know that they never truly leave you.

May God strengthen your body and spirit. Take as much rest as you can. You are a wonderful man (whose impressive example I want to follow in many ways) and have every reason to be proud of yourself. I'm sure God is. I feel so honored to be your friend. You are loved much more than words can say.
I am sorry to hear about this. Just know that your friend's soul is at peace now. Your friend's family is lucky to have you to care for them and you are lucky to have them to care for you.
It's always hard to lose someone close. I just now was able to read about your friend. Sorry to hear this. With all your stress I hope you are taking care of yourself too!

That is sad. As usual, there are no words, only lame and useless ones. The comfort is knowing you and he and us are not alone.
You have my deepest sympathy...
As I once heard an Orthodox rabbi say, when we fall, we fall into the lap of God. May the comfort of God be with all of you as no doubt it has embraced your friend. Sometimes all we can do is hug and hold, even as we let go. God hug you close, for God will never let go.
I don't know what to say...I'll keep his family in my prayers.
My belated condolences to you. We just returned home from burying my MIL.
There is nothing I can say to take away the pain. Just know that my thoughts are with you.
