Again!

OK, I've had enough winter.  It is snowing again!  And it is bitter cold tonight.

Some snow-showers, some flurries, all right.  But this is a few more inches.  And not the kind I like!

Ugh.

And in other news . . . .

Well, there ain't much other news, this time.  Stay home, stay well, stay warm.

You need to find a snuggle buddy for these cold nights. HUGS of warmth from Southern California!

Last night I felt cold for the first time this winter, and it was only about 20F. For some reason the wind blew right through me.

Stay warm Joe xoxo

I am visiting my parents in East Texas, planning to take a train back home tomorrow evening. So naturally we are having a winter rain/sleet/snow mix today. One of my cousins plans to drive me to the train -- fifty miles away -- tomorrow afternoon. The weather line is right where we are, so we are waiting to see if the roads will be okay. (Of course, there is no snow removal budget and no equipment in the county.) It is supposed to go up to about 40 tomorrow, so I think I will be okay.

This is nothing. We have had a total of a couple of feet this winter already in Wisconsin. But down here an inch disrupts life.

Anyway, stay warm, stay safe. And if a snuggle buddy is an option, snuggle up!

The word verification is spera, which is close enough to the Latin for hope that I had to mention it.

It is just the beginning of the 6-month snowy winter here, unfortuately. Stay warm!

I hope Winter won't linger too long for you, and that you'll be able to come up with some Staying Warm contingency plan in the meantime. It seems we are all full of suggestions. ; )

We had our first ever white Christmas this year :-) Of course, white meant flurries and random accumulation, but my girls loved it.

And now we've just gotten through a couple of days of icy snow. Which reminds why I live in the South. I am definitely not a fan of cold, slushy, wet mess!
