Me, myself, I

I'm having one of those sinking feelings, getting overwhelmed with stuff and life and everything. It may be in large part due to illness: I've had a chronic sinus infection for several months. Now I'm on my third antibiotic which should quell the bug (or kill me otherwise).

Like most folk, I get depressed when I'm ill, and I haven't felt like myself in several months. Wait. Do I know what "myself" feels like? Hmmm.... I'll have to think on that some more.

That's the question, isn't it? With all the upheaval, how much of "you" is still "you"?

When I figure it out, I'll let you know, but don't hold yr breath.

I hope you feel better soon! Could you share what antibiotics you have been prescribed. As you may or may not know, I've been battling chronic sinusitis for years.

and it makes everything seem grim.

Ok, so get well soon. But more importantly you are now free to start exploring "what yourself" really feels like......very little left to hid.

Well i hope this med works for you. I know its no fun at all. Also you really need to be sure you take your days off. Self care in our line of work is extremely important! Go home early, take a nap, listen to some great music. Just relax enjoy your deck. do wohatever recharges your battery. Deal with the gunny sack on your shoulder, its not easy but i've learned how important that is! Still praying for you!
