Grok and (unrelated) Drama

Along the journey, we have forest, desert, oasis, wilderness, open field, and rivers. On occasion, those rivers may be dangerous torrents or wide barriers. But there are also streams of "living water" providing refreshment and relief. Such was my weekend with RayBob.

With open hearts and minds, connections happen. Spirits move. We really grokked.

This week days are filled with preparations to get daughter #1 back to college, so I've not much time to post. Of course, in family tradition, there is great drama with everything!

Well, I am gay, after all. Who'd a thunk it?

Am I the only one old enough to not have to click on "grok" to understand it? *Sigh*

It sounds like you had a wonderful time. Was this the first time you'd met Raybob? I am in awe of the power of the Internet to intersect with and expand our "real" lives.

May you never thirst.

Yes, there are many different backgrounds along a journey--whether it is desert or oasis. Some are filling, others leave you thirsty.

Good to know others see how deep you are! The living waters are deep, but O so satisfying. For Jeremiah, Richard foster is wonderful and a must read. I would say I used to follow the evangelical tradition but now its more contemplative.

Joe. Big uh? hmmmm.
