Thanks for all the responses on retreat ideas.  Keep them coming!

I've been watching some of the It Gets Better videos.  They are so touching, moving, sad, happy, and glorious.  One of the LA Gay Men's Chorus singing True Colors moved me to tears (as so many of the videos have).

I think for many of us, there is much stored-up grief.  Tears always help me let it out.

Enjoy.  And weep.  And celebrate.

I love this one, too. After I posted it on my blog, one of my nieces told me that she already had True Colors as my ringtone on her phone. How cool is that?

Powerful!
All of these videos have been so moving! and the musical ones have been among the most powerful. I have written to Dan Savage urging him to consider releasing a CD of all the musical submissions to benefit the Trevor Project. I know that one song is available for download on iTunes.
But this was powerful - not only musically, but visually. I, too. wept.

This may be my favorite one of all I've seen. It gives me chills when I watch it.

I agree with you about crying. I think it's one of the best things a person can do for himself. Afterward everything seems to be so much better.

While I agree that GMCLA does a wonderful job, I find it ironic that they selected "True Colors" when Cyndi Lauper started "We Give a Damn" long before Dan Savage started "It Gets Better."
